Terms of Service

Shipping, Returns, Warranty & Conditions of Use


All products are new and are warranted by the manufacturer. 

Check Your Antenna System: CB antennas must be checked for proper operation. Antenna systems with a high SWR (Standing Wave Ratio) can damage your CB radio. This is not covered by warranty. It is your responsibility to have your antenna system checked and operating properly. For more information on this subject see our web page Tuning CB Antennas.

Oversize Items: UPS charges additional for oversize items. This includes items 4 feet and longer. An additional $12.00 will be added to any oversize item when we process your order. Please call with any questions.

Damaged Shipment: We package all items carefully to protect it during shipping and insure all packages. We use UPS to deliver most of our packages. Contact UPS at 800-742-5877 to file a damage claim. Keep all items ordered along with the shipping boxes and packaging material, as UPS may want to see it. Do not ship damaged items back to us or to our warehouse unless we ask for it, in which case a Return Authorization Number will be issued to be printed on the outside of the box.

Please contact us at (717) 259-7485 to report the incident so we can provide a replacement. All damaged shipments must be reported to us within 3 days of the delivery date*. If calling during non-business hours, leave a message on the telephone voice mail. Please include your name and order number.

Damaged items will be replaced as soon as possible.


Items Defective Upon Delivery:
 Please contact us at (717) 259-7485 for an exchange. Defective items must be reported to us within 3 days of the delivery date*. If calling during non-business hours, leave a message on the telephone voice mail. Please include your name and order number. 


We will provide a Return Authorization Number to be printed on the outside of the shipping box. The customer is responsible for returning the defective item to us. All items returned as defective will be checked and tested. Defective items will be exchanged or credit issued. If a replacement is to be sent we will ship it to you as soon as possible. 
Any items found not to be defective will incur a service charge in addition to a 20% restocking fee and customer will be responsible for all shipping charges.

Wrong Product Received: Please contact us at (717) 259-7485. We must be notified within 3 days of the delivery date*. If calling during non-business hours, leave a message on the telephone voice mail. Please include your name and order number.

If we mistakenly shipped the wrong product (product other than what was ordered) we will provide a Return Authorization Number to be printed on the outside of the box and we will have the shipper pick up the package. Item will be exchanged or credit issued. If a replacement is to be sent we will ship it to you as soon as possible.

Returns:
 Returns are allowed within 14 days of the delivery date* except for non-returnable items**. Product must be in new condition, complete with all accessories, manuals and paperwork. Packaging must be in new condition and unopened. Product will be returned to customer at customer's expense if there is any sign that the product had been used or installed. Customer is responsible for all shipping and handling costs. No refunds on shipping & handling. A 20% restocking fee may apply. Please call (717) 259-7485 for a Return Authorization Number.

Warranty: All products are new and are warranted by the manufacturer. The manufacturers are the sole provider of any warranty for their products. The manufacturers have their own facility to process warranty claims. All warranty claims are handled through the manufacturer. Should you have an issue with warranty and need help contacting the manufacturer please give us a call at (717) 259-7485. The customer is responsible for returning the item for warranty including any related shipping charges. All warranties are strictly between the customer and the manufacturer. Pepper Electronics, LLC is in no way affiliated with any manufacturer's warranty. Shipping expenses are the customer's responsibility and are not refunded by Pepper Electronics, LLC.
 
* Delivery Date: The delivery date is the date that the shipper (in most cases UPS) delivered the package to the shipping address you provided. Where stated as "within 3 days of the delivery date" and "within 14 days of the delivery date" this includes the delivery date.

** Non-Returnable Items:
 To assure you receive new equipment, all Radios (CB, 2-Way and Scanners) are not returnable unless defective upon delivery.

No returns accepted without a Return Authorization Number.

 Cancellation Policy: Cancellation of any order must be made before the order is processed. To cancel an order call (717) 259-7485. If calling during non-business hours, leave a message on the telephone voice mail. Please include your name and order number. We will contact you.

Shipping & Handling:
 We package all product carefully to protect it during shipping and all orders are insured. Freight estimates are based on shipping within the continental United States. Contact us for shipping rates to Alaska and Hawaii. Under certain circumstances, the shipper may charge additional freight to some locations. You will be notified by email of any difference in the shipping costs.

Shipping to A.P.O. boxes will likewise incur a modest up-charge for special handling.


There will be a minimum $12.00 additional charge for incorrect shipping addresses.

Refused Shipments: 
Refused shipments will incur a service charge in addition to a 20% restocking fee and customer will be charged for all shipping expenses involved.
